EXCL: Trailer, Poster Premiere for In the House of Flies

Co-starring Henry Rollins

Shock Till You Drop has your exclusive first look at the poster and teaser trailer for the indie horror film In the House of Flies.

Directed, produced and edited by Philip Carrer (PGC) – his fourth feature film and follow up to the underground cult hit If a Tree Falls, which premiered at the Fantasia Film Festival last year – the film stars Ryan Kotack, Lindsay Smith, Ryan Barrett and punk rock icon Henry Rollins.

Set in the 1980s, In the House of Flies focuses around an abducted couple forced to tackle their way to freedom. Alone, isolated and locked in an undisclosed, suburban basement, Heather and Steve find themselves surrounded by numerous and mysteriously sealed suitcases – each containing valuable clues to their very own survival.

Both Heather (Lindsay Smith) and Steve (Ryan Kotack) must exploit what remains of their bruised intellect and depleting sanity to escape the authority of unidentified and brutal kidnappers (Henry Rollins & Ryan Barrett). Let the countdown begin.

In the House of Flies is written by Angus Mcllean and produced by MKD Cinema’s Philip Carrer, Black Fawn Films’s Chad Archibald and Dave McLeod, who are all part of Bleeding Apple, a Canadian filmmaking collective.

Check out the film’s Facebook page and stay tuned for U.S. release news.

If a Tree Falls, meanwhile, has been picked up by High Flier Films for a DVD/BLU-RAY release date in the UK for January 20th, 2012 and by Black Fawn Distribution in Canada.
