Rue Morgue’s Gudino Wants to Introduce You to Rosalind Leigh

New film to begin shooting this fall

Rue Morgue Magazine’s head honcho, Rodrigo Gudino, is in pre-production on The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh. This marks a slight deviation from his previously announced plans to make Cut Throats Nine. That remake has simply been placed on hold until he is done with this new endeavor.

Directed from his own script, Gudino will tell the story of an antiques collector who inherits a house from his estranged mother only to discover that she had been living in a shrine devoted to a mysterious cult of angels.

As night falls, he comes to suspect that his mother’s oppressive spirit still lingers within her home and is using items in the house – especially the statues of angels – to contact him with an urgent message.

“I’m exploring new ways of telling a story,” says Gudiño. “This film will be ambitious in this regard, and I expect it will linger afterwards, especially when audiences find themselves alone in their home.”

Shooting begins this October with Marco Pecota producing.
