Asia Argento reunites with her Stendhal co-star
Screen Daily is sort of vague today, reporting Thomas Kretschmann (Resident Evil: Apocalypse, King Kong) will play “the lead” in Dario Argento’s 3D re-telling of Dracula.
Sooo, are we to presume the German actor is indeed taking on the eponymous role, then?
Kretschmann is no stranger to Argento territory having starred in the director’s 1996 film The Stendhal Syndrome. He’ll reunite with that film’s star Asia Argento for Dracula, which also stars Marta Gastini (The Rite) and Rutger Hauer.
The latter will play doctor Van Helsing.
