More on That Screen Adaptation of Steve Niles’ Remains

Location found, story still in Reno, NV

Remains is quietly going into production, but we’re doing our best to keep you in the loop on its progress.

Yesterday, the network Chiller announced it is getting behind a feature film adaptation of Steve Niles’ “Remains,” a graphic novel illustrated by Kieron Dwyer that focused on the zombie apocalypse from the perspective of a Reno, Nevada blackjack dealer.

Connecticut native Colin Theys is directing and it appears he’ll be shooting the film in his home state.

A Ramada Inn in Mystic, Connecticut will stand in as a Nevada casino, says a local NBC affiliate.

Andrew Gernhard (Predator Island) is producing and says Remains will receive a limited theatrical run before airing on Chiller this fall.
