Borden comes to life, River‘s mom
Chloe Sevigny – best known for her turn on Big Love – is going to slip into the skin of Lizzie Borden.
Playtone is producing, that’s Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman’s production outfit, for HBO.
Lizzie Borden will be a four-hour mini-series that focuses on the life of the woman acquitted of killing her father and stepmother with a hatchet.
In other television news, The River has found Leslie Hope (24) to star as a mother who joins her family on the Amazon River to find her husband. Joe Anderson, Paul Blackthorne and Bruce Greenwood also star in the ABC series created by Oren Peli (Paranormal Activity).
