Based on the IDW comic book
The rights for IDW’s comic book “Zombies vs. Robots” have been acquired by Sony.
Chris Ryall and Ashley Wood created the series.
According to Deadline, the story at the center of the comic serves as the basis for JT Petty’s script Inherit the Earth, which will be produced by Platinum Dunes, IDW and Circle of Confusion.
The film will focus on a young girl – the last survivor of Earth – who is being protected by robots. Protection from what? A group of highly intelligent zombies.
