Panettiere, Reed and De Mornay to star
Hayden Panettiere, Nikki Reed and Rebecca De Mornay will topline Downer’s Grove for Myriad Pictures.
The thriller is scripted by Brett Easton Ellis, author of “American Psycho,” and is an adaptation of Michael Hornberg’s book.
Nelson McCormick is directing and the story certainly seems to fit into his groove (he previously helmed the Prom Night and The Stepfather remakes). Grove is set at a seemingly “cursed” high school where a senior dies before the end of each school year.
Panettiere plays a young woman who believes she will be the one senior of her graduating class to die next.
