Production beginning on UK thriller
Stealth Media Group has swooped in to shepherd the upcoming thriller Dark Peak.
The film is being described as The Philadelphia Experiment meets The Descent and was written by Alistair Audsley. Ben Jagger is in line to direct.
Peak follows a group of hikers on Dark Peak who encounter a terrifying, mysterious force. The one surviving member must convince his rescuers that something is very wrong, so wrong that he cannot conceive of its full impact until it is too late. Since WWII there have been over 50 unexplained air crashes on Dark Peak in the UK.
The film is being produced by Paul Tucker on behalf of Belief Films, and John Adams of Angry Badger Pictures.
The film is fully financed and will start pre-production in April 2011 for a delivery of first quarter 2012.
Producers are at present casting the film and will announce attachments in the next couple of weeks.
