Ryan weighs in with his selections
Don’t you just love it when Halloween falls on a weekend? Sure, Sunday’s a bit rough party-wise since it’s back to work Monday, however, Friday and Saturday leaves you plenty of time to put the final touches on your costume, devour candy and pumpkin ice cream and partake in a horror movie marathon.
I’ll admit, I’ve been an AMC junkie the last week and a half. But it’s time to cut the umbilical chord and start spinning some films I’ve been waiting to revisit, specifically, on Halloween day.
(Just bought the Blu-Ray, can’t wait to dive in.)
INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS ’78
(Haven’t seen it in years.)
THE SERPENT AND THE RAINBOW
(Girlfriend’s suggestion. Another one I haven’t seen in a while.)
ANGEL HEART
(Keepin’ the voodoo mojo going…)
THE DEVIL WITHIN HER
(On Netflix Live, I’ve never seen it. We’ll see if we make it to this one.)
For the last month, I’ve been revisiting some of the new Halloween classics.
What do you have scheduled for a potential horror-thon? We want to hear from you!
