Based on a true story…
Some time back, as principal photography was getting started, we told you about an upcoming Australian thriller called The Reef. Andrew (Black Water) Traucki directed, utilizing real sharks (!) for the shoot. That said, an official trailer is now live – dissimilar from that sales preview that was posted and yanked from the web earlier this year.
Damian Walshe-Howling, Zoe Naylor, Gyton Grantley, Adrienne Pickering and Kieran Darcy-Smith star in the film as four friends who are forced to swim ashore when their boat capsizes in the Great Barrier Reef. There, they are stalked by a 15-foot great white shark.
