Re-cap of who turned in outlines
Dimension Films is focusing its efforts on the Hellraiser remake, however, a number of rumors are swirling about the project, so let’s break down what Shock has heard.
We told you earlier this year that Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, Christian E. Christiansen, Cory Goodman, Josh Stolberg and Petergoldfinger all turned in separate takes on the redo. Christiansen’s treatment was the most recent and now he’s being rumored to direct the film.
But now there are rumblings the Drive Angry duo Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer are possibly in the running for the project.
From our understanding, the approach to the remake runs across the board. And, yes, there is a treatment circling the offices with a more “youthful” take (filled with a teen cast). But it’s not certain which story they’ve gone with yet.
