Added to Lugosi night in L.A.
KNB Effects’ Greg Nicotero directed a short film entitled United Monster Talent Agency, featuring most of Hollywood’s classic monsters.
The short is playing to Fantastic Fest audiences in the coming days, however, for those of you living in L.A., you can check it out at the American Cinematheque and Monsterverse’s “An Evening With Bela Lugosi” which is taking place Thursday, October 28 from 6:30pm – 11:30pm at the Egyptian Theater (6712 Hollywood Boulevard).
Nicotero’s eight-minute “’50s newsreel” shows how “real” monsters were “wrangled” for use in classic horror films and not performed with actors! The cast includes cameos by Frank Darabont, Robert Rodriguez, Eli Roth, Cerina Vincent, Dana Gould, Jeffery Combs, Carey Jones, Arden Myrin, Erica Frene, Sam Page and Jake Garber.
