Dimension Films orders up another…
Dimension Films has announced that a sequel to Piranha 3D is officially in the works.
The film garnered decent reviews, however, grossed $10 million during its opening weekend. Those who have seen the film know it leaves the door wide open for a sequel. So, be prepared for Piranha 3D: The Sequel.
Piranha 3D producer Mark Canton stated, “We are thrilled that audiences are not just loving Piranha 3D, but cheering for it. And itâs fantastic that so many critics are really getting the movie and recommending it. We can’t wait to get to work on the sequel.”
No word yet if Alex Aja is returning to the director’s chair.
