Second Director to Participate in Walking Dead?

AMC taps Breaking Bad contributor

It was never set in stone that Frank Darabont was going to direct all six episodes of The Walking Dead. And for a few weeks, we speculated who would be called in to help with the work load.

In my conversations with my colleagues, we mused over guest horror directors like George Romero (wouldn’t that be cool?), but realistically, AMC and Darabont would likely call in some seasoned television vets. Now, first word on who another potential helmer has hit the web.

According to Arrow’s source, Breaking Bad‘s Michelle MacLaren will take on an episode. Makes sense. Breaking Bad is an AMC show after all. MacLaren is also an X-Files vet, having produced a number of episodes. Stay tuned for confirmation…
