An upcoming Ghost House production
It’s been a couple of months since Neil Marshall (The Descent, Doomsday) signed to direct Burst 3D for Lionsgate and Ghost House.
Shock Till You Drop had a chance to catch up to producer J.R. Young (repping the Ghost House team) this week and we pressed him for an update on this tale of a group of folks who are holed up in a lodge during a winter storm and start spontaneously exploding.
“We certainly plan to put it into production in 2010,” Young said. “By the nature of the project schedule, we’re now getting it ready and getting into conversations with Neil. We’ll do some more work on the script to incorporate the director’s ideas and then it get going. Basically, we’re talking about we want to hold onto in the script and marry all of it. Once we all get on the same page and working towards the same thing, we’ll figure out the best writer to execute that.”
Gary Dauberman penned the script. Marshall’s latest, Centurion, is set to hit sometime next year.
