“This is the real film.”
Following up on yesterday’s post about the upcoming “director’s cut” of Halloween 2, Rob Zombie teases us yet again this evening via his Twitter account.
The writer/director posted, “Just finished doing the director’s commentary for the DVD of Halloween 2. Love the new cut. This is the real film.”
It’s no secret that Zombie had a very tight schedule to get his Halloween sequel in theaters by August and hence probably didn’t have the appropriate time to finish it the way he intended. With a few extra months to prep this director’s cut DVD, will the new version fare any better? We shall see…
No release date is set yet, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear it.
