Slasher films. Everyone has their favorites and when you talk to a rabid fan, it’s always a blast when they start pulling out the obscure titles.
One new entry to the sub-genre that we’re certain will make some lists in the next few years is Warner Premiere’s The Hills Run Red. Dave Parker’s vicious return to the director’s chair comes to DVD this week, following a long journey to completion, and I sat down with him to get a breakdown of his favorite slasher offerings.
Joining us is actress Janet Montgomery (also star of Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead). Together, they mashed together an eclectic mix of top 10 slasher titles.
