Case 39 to be Solved Next Year Instead

Renée Zellweger horror-thriller pushed back

Paramount Pictures tells ShockTillYouDrop.com that Case 39, the Renée Zellweger horror-thriller, has been pushed back from August 22 to April 10, 2009.

In the Christian Alvart-directed pic, an idealistic social worker (Zellweger) saves an abused 10-year-old girl (Jodelle Ferland) from her parents only to discover that the girl is not as innocent as she thinks.

Ian McShane, Kerry O’Malley, Callum Keith Rennie, Bradley Cooper, Adrian Lester, Georgia Craig and Cynthia Stevenson co-star in the R-rated film, written by Ray Wright.
