A line like that could not have been uttered with such conviction by anyone other than Christian Bale as Patrick Bateman in Mary Harron’s American Psycho. And now you can revisit the 1999 adaptation of Brett Easton Ellis’ controversial novel at the theater this weekend. If you live in the Los Angeles area, that is.
The Aero Theater (1328 Montana Avenue at 14th Street in Santa Monica) is holding a “Bale-head Marathon” featuring 3:10 to Yuma, Batman Begins, American Psycho and I’m Not There (what, no Reign of Fire?!).
