The Crazies meets Jack Ketchum’s Ladies’ Night in a new film currently in pre-production at Hanover Films. Evil Aliens‘ Jake West is getting re-acquainted to some original material – after helming the pretty abysmal Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes – in The Doghouse, written by newcomer Dan Schaffer.
In the horror-comedy, seven men go an excursion to help a friend deal with a rough divorce. When they arrive at a village in the country, they discover all of the women are afflicted with an airborne virus that has turned them into man-hating cannibals.
It’s rumored The Doghouse will reunite West with Evil Aliens cast members Emily Booth and Christopher Adamson.
