Shoreline Digs Up a Living Corpse

Zombie comic finds new life on screen

Many films have been done about the undead, but few have been told from their perspective. Shoreline Entertainment is out to change that with The Living Corpse.

The property was optioned by Shoreline Entertainment and created by Ken Haeser and Buz Hasson. They initially published “Corpse” via an indie comic book. Zenescope Entertainment – those responsible for the “Se7en” comic – now owns the title and plans to continue the series in print.

As for its cinematic incarnation, Justin Ritter (Katiebird) will write and direct the adaptation which focuses on a zombie who vows to keep the undead six feet under while piecing together his fragmented past. Morris Ruskin (Shadow Puppets) is producing.
