Remake of Filipino Sigaw
Jason Smilovic (writer, Lucky Number Slevin) and producers Tyler Mitchell and Robert Kravis have formed Dark & Stormy Night Entertainment, reports Variety. Of the projects they got in the pipeline the one we’ve got our eye on is The Echo, a remake of the Filipino horror film from Yam Laranas. Burt Dickenson is co-producing with Roy Lee’s Vertigo Entertainment. Story concerns an ex-con embroiled in a curse when he tries to intervene in a neighbor’s abusive relationship.
