Resident Evil: The Final Chapter 360° Experience Takes You to The Killing Floor

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter interactive 360° video allows you to fight like Alice

Paul W.S. Anderson’s 6th (and supposedly final… yeah, sure) entry in his venerable video game-inspired horror/action film series Resident Evil opens on January 27th in 2D, 3D and 3D IMAX.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter once more pits Milla Jovavich’s unstoppable and often cloned war machine Alice against a perverse planet filled with flesh-eating zombies, marauding mutant monsters and devious corporate sociopaths and it will no doubt be filled with the sort of slick, immersive and fetish-fueled designer mayhem that Anderson and his team have been bringing to the franchise for 15 years.

Today, Sony has released a very cool promotional distraction for the film, a wild — and if you play with it alone, kind of spooky — interactive video called  “The Killing Floor 360° Experience.” Click on the clip below and use your mouse or arrows to navigate the nauseating world of rotting, cannibal corpses and dystopian dysfunction.

And if you play the game via Facebook on your mobile device, you can simply drag your greasy finger all over the screen and pretend you’re Alice under attack from a battery of beasts.

It’s really cool. Try it.

And be sure to catch Resident Evil: The Final Chapter in theaters starting January 27th!
