Tom Holland discusses Miles Morales’ potential introduction to the MCU
Tom Holland reiterated his desire to bring Miles Morales into the Marvel Cinematic Universe during a new Hobby Consolas interview. The Spider-Man: Brand New Day star confirmed he is actively working toward introducing the character to live action. Holland previously expressed similar hopes during an Empire Magazine conversation in May.
“I think at this point in time, we’re being really open-minded about what the future looks like,” Holland told Hobby Consolas. He added that he personally wants to bring Miles Morales into the universe. Holland also acknowledged that significant work remains before this vision becomes a reality.
The actor credited Robert Downey Jr. for shaping his own journey into the MCU over the past decade. Holland expressed deep gratitude for the mentorship he received during his early Spider-Man tenure. He now hopes to offer that same guidance to the next generation of actors joining the franchise.
“I feel incredibly grateful for the way I was introduced into this world and that I was shepherded by RDJ,” Holland said. He expressed a strong desire to return that favor to future stars who join these films. Holland described this mentorship transition as something he is genuinely pursuing behind the scenes.
Meanwhile, Zendaya also spoke about reconnecting with her character MJ in the new film. She revealed that MJ feels like something is missing in her life after Doctor Strange’s spell erased her memories. Zendaya said she wants to believe that feeling connects back to Peter Parker on some deeper level.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in theaters on July 31 and also stars Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, and Mark Ruffalo.
