However, Eric handles their questions, revealing that he had been sketching since retiring. Elsewhere, Hope kisses Liam but senses his odd behavior.
She reveals that she came to meet Katie and address her ongoing rift with her mother. Soon, she receives a reaction from Liam when she speculates about Katie’s lead designer after noticing the sketches on the desk. That is also the moment Liam realizes he can no longer keep the secret.

Katie is worried
Bill continues to rant about Eric producing the designs and the quality of silk. While Katie is concerned about Eric’s condition, Bill reassures her that he will be fine. However, Katie asks Bill to be more considerate of Eric’s health and quickly checks on him by texting Donna.
Ridge wants Eric’s sketches
Meanwhile, Ridge and Brooke are impressed by Eric’s sketches, believing they are worthy of being Forrester Originals. Ridge expresses his desire to include the designs in the couture line. Eric is left stunned as his son urges him to bring the sketches to the company, assuring him they will bring them to life.
Elsewhere, when Katie does not receive a response from Donna, she decides to head to the Forrester mansion with Bill. Meanwhile, Ridge opens up about how much his father means to him and asks him to send over the designs. He also assures Eric that he will source the finest Italian silk for the collection. As Eric is about to reveal the truth about the designs, Katie and Bill enter.
Katie reveals the truth
Liam reveals to Hope that Katie has hired Eric as her lead designer. At the mansion, Ridge grows furious when Katie and Bill enter without knocking. Katie fires back, arguing that her family has ties to the house and they do not need permission to walk in. Bill clarifies that they came to check on Eric.
Meanwhile, Brooke tells Katie they are looking forward to bringing Eric’s designs back to Forrester. Unable to keep the secret any longer, Katie finally admits that Eric is her lead designer, leaving everyone shocked. Ridge then turns to his father and asks once again if what Katie is saying is true.
