Eli and Lani are finally coming back to Salem in Days of Our Lives, marking a major change that could shake things up. On Monday’s episode, it was confirmed that the pair will be back soon, and this time, they will be around more often. Sal Stowers spoke about the surprise return in a new interview.
Sal Stowers says Days of Our Lives fans will now see ‘lots more of Lani’
Monday’s episode of Days of Our Lives revealed that Lani and Eli would be returning to Salem. In a rather surprising development, Eli told Julie that the FBI was so impressed by his and Rafe’s team-up in Alamainia that they had decided to keep them together.
Following this development, Soaps.com spoke to Sal Stowers (Lani) about the anticipated return.
“I am very, very excited to say that, yes, you will see lots more of Lani Price Grant in the streets of Salem,” Stowers said excitedly, “So get ready! Buckle up, because she is here, baby!”
Eli and Lani originally moved away in the latter part of 2022 and have since come to the show sporadically. They were present for the Christmas episode most recently. So, their ties to the show have not wavered much.
“I am very honored for my Days family,” she continued, “and I’ve just been very thankful and appreciative for having the opportunity to jump back into Lani and come back to Salem and see everyone. It’s a blessing.”
Stowers further added that working with the Days of Our Lives cast, “who I love and who I’ve known for, oh my God, a decade now, it’s really cool. I do not take it for granted.”
Sal Stowers made her debut as Lani Price on Days of Our Lives back in 2015 as a series regular. She has since been around the show, even if not in full capacity at all times. But in the future, there will be plenty more of her on the show.
