Joshua Morrow says Nick and Sharon will ‘need a little time’ to reunite on Young and Restless
In his interview with Soaps.com, Joshua Morrow talked about Nick and Sharon’s future on The Young and Restless. He said, “These two have certainly and very slowly been working towards a reunion.” However, the Matt Clark problem ultimately slows down the progress. Morrow added, “It’s not just about them getting closer now; it’s about actual, legitimate fear for their son. That has removed some of those moments that the audience had been watching lately [where the former marrieds were being drawn back together].”
The 51-year-old actor continued, “But obviously, anybody who knows anything about soap operas knows that these two are clearly on a path to that happening.” Additionally, Morrow gave a message to the fans of the duo, saying, “For the ‘Shick’ fans who are clamoring for this to happen, we’re gonna need a little time.”
He explained it is “Because right now, the focus is keeping the family safe and ridding it of this monster.” Morrow also added, “They’ve had some incredible ups and downs. They’ve been hit with everything under the sun from a problem standpoint”. He concluded, “This most recent evolution of them is just co-parenting and being people that each other can rely on.”
The recent episodes are covering Nick’s efforts to catch Matt. As he thinks he is moving closer to his goal, things are bound to get more dangerous. Meanwhile, Sharon is upset seeing Noah hurt again, while Nick is angry that he ended up running away from the bodyguards. Noah is worried for Sienna, who has gone missing, but Nick feels she might have willingly gone with Matt, leading to a fight between the father and son.
