Everyone who is leaving and coming to The Young and the Restless’ cast this week
Who’s coming
This week, The Young and the Restless is shaking things up with some fresh star power.
Roger Howarth, the soap legend fans know from General Hospital and One Life to Live, is officially joining the Genoa City crew. As per Soap Opera Digest’s latest update, Howarth will play Mitch Bacall, who happens to be Sienna Bacall’s husband.
Michael Damian is back on the show as Danny Romalotti. He is the iconic rock star and proud dad of Daniel, played by Michael Graziadei. His return instantly stirs things up, especially since he’s crossing paths again with his ex, Phyllis Summers, played by Michelle Stafford.
This means fans can expect some old sparks and fresh drama, as Danny’s comeback will add to the longtime emotional tug-of-war between Daniel, Phyllis, and Danny.
Cait Fairbanks is also back this week as Tessa Porter, and fans are here for it. While Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is busy balancing mom life and her creative hustle, Tessa finds herself sharing some surprising screen time with Daniel Romalotti.
Redding Munsell is back as little Harrison Abbott. As per the teasers, Kyle (Michael Mealor) will be going the extra mile for his son. The storyline picks up on Kyle’s struggle to juggle being a devoted dad while sorting through his messy love life.
Who’s going
While new and returning faces keep things going, this week also marks a short but memorable goodbye to Ray Wise. He joined the show as Ian Ward, Genoa City’s resident bad guy, for a quick cameo.
