Connections Help, Hints & Clues for Today, October 8

Having trouble with the October 8 edition of NYT Connections? We’re here with some clues and hints to help you crack the puzzle and add another day to your winning streak.

Connection by The New York Times is one of the most popular online games, enjoyed by fans worldwide. It is a daily word game created by editor Wyna Liu. The objective is to categorize 16 different words into groups of four based on hidden themes. Players must identify the theme within four guesses and choose which words belong in which group. Each group is a different color based on how difficult it is to figure out.

Additionally, the games offer a helpful “one away…” notification for the players when they are on the right track. Fans often begin solving the yellow group first, as it is the easiest among the four.
