General Hospital Fans Are Divided on Who Shot Drew

Fans are divided over who may have shot Drew on General Hospital. For those unfamiliar, Drew was at home before tragedy struck. He was having a drink while looking at the engagement ring he gave Willow and then at their framed photo. Suddenly, a mysterious intruder appeared, stood behind him, and pulled the trigger twice at close range, leaving Drew collapsing to the floor covered in blood.

Fans are mostly unsure about the identity of Drew’s shooter on General Hospital

Soap Opera Digest recently conducted an audience poll, giving fans a chance to reveal which character they think could have shot Drew. The poll was led by Willow, who received 31% of the audience votes. Willow has often showcased her good side, but she hasn’t shied away from revealing her darker side either.

Ever since losing the custody battle, she seems to have lost her peace of mind and continues stirring up trouble in others’ lives, especially for Sasha and Michael. If she turns out to be the shooter, it would certainly come as a shock to Drew. Moreover, Michael could likely restrict her ability to see the kids due to her dangerous behavior.

Meanwhile, 27% of fans voted that Jenz Sidwell could be Drew’s shooter, likely because of his ruthless nature and willingness to eliminate anyone who no longer serves his purpose. He may have viewed Drew as a liability — too focused on Willow’s custody battle instead of Sidwell’s larger goals. Since Sidwell only cared about using custody as leverage against Sonny, Drew’s misplaced priorities could have made him expendable.

Another 5% of voters believe Nina could be the attacker. She has previously tried to harm Drew by conspiring with Portia and could be angry at him for coming between Willow and Michael. It might also be an act of revenge, since Drew betrayed her to aid Willow.

Alexis, Carly, Sonny, Stella, Tracy, Curtis, Martin, Michael, and Portia collectively made up about 10% of the vote. The remaining responses went to the “Other” category, suggesting that fans weren’t convinced any of the listed characters shot Drew and believed it could be someone entirely different.
