The third week elimination of Dancing with the Stars Season 34 came as a shock to everyone in the ballroom. Lauren Jauregui and her partner, Brandon Armstrong, went home after their performance on one of Fifth Harmony’s songs. Their Cha-Cha performance on “Work From Home” by Fifth Harmony featuring Ty Dolla $ign received a cumulative score of 18/30 by the judges.
Tied with Andy Richter and Emma Slater, this was the lowest score of the night, with both couples at the bottom of the leaderboard. On the other hand, Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa, along with Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas, topped the leaderboard in a tie with scores of 24/30 from the judges. Meanwhile, Jen Affleck and Jan Ravnik got away with coming close to elimination, as they scored 19/30.
Even though Jauregui and Armstrong had the lowest score, the elimination came as a shocking revelation to the audience, considering Lauren’s huge fanbase. The hosts announced Andy Richter and Emma Slater to be safe, resulting in the elimination of the Fifth Harmony member.
Upon being asked how she was feeling, Jauregui simply said, “Pissed.” She then turned to her dance partner and added, “I’m so grateful to have had you as a partner.”
