Braun is a seasoned actress who played key roles in major soap operas, including General Hospital and Days of Our Lives. She has played two different roles in General Hospital. In 2001, she took on Carly Corinthos, who is currently played by Laura Wright. Her role continued till 2005, but then in 2017, she returned to portray a new role, Dr. Kim Nero.

In 2008, she became a part of Days of Our Lives, where she played Ava Vitali. Her character was introduced as a mystery woman from Steve’s past. However, it’s later revealed that she actually is a mafia princess. Tripp Johnson and the late Charlie Dale are her children on the show. Sarah Fletcher also temporarily voiced this character.
