Fans think that Nick could potentially die in The Young and the Restless. This speculation has intensified ever since The Young and the Restless head writer and executive producer Josh Griffith revealed that more characters could land in danger.
The current storyline features Nick as he plans to head to his sleeping car. Sharon arrives and insists that she would like to come with him. As Nick worries about the danger, she assures him that they will stay safer together. She reveals that she is trying to let go of the past and focus on the present. As they converse, there is a knock at the door. Nick opens it and is greeted by Carter with a guard.
Carter reveals that his boss, Cane, feels threatened by Nick. Therefore, he has ordered him to place Nick under house arrest. This angers Nick, who tries to push past them, but he’s met with the accusation of attempting to flee before the police arrive. Carter also warns that they may have to draw their weapon to deal with him. He then takes both Nick and Sharon, reiterating that they have no choice.
Fans speculate that there is a chance that Cane might order Carter to do the unthinkable to Nick, given that they both hold personal grudges towards each other. Moreover, Griffith also recently revealed that “danger continues to loom in a big way, putting our core characters in serious jeopardy,” in an interview with Soap Opera Digest.
