Why General Hospital Fans Think Michael Will Leave Port Charles

With tensions continually rising around Port Charles, the spoilers for the July 16, 2025, episode of General Hospital hint that Michael Corinthos may make a huge decision after the recent developments.

As per the spoilers, Michael is already considering the prospect of leaving with Daisy and Sasha. But will he really go away?

Will Michael leave Port Charles in General Hospital?

There is no confirmation in the General Hospital spoilers about Michael Corinthos departing Port Charles for good. But the spoilers do indicate that Michael will start thinking about the prospect. With Sasha and Daisy going away, it seems Michael will also consider leaving Port Charles, along with his kids, Wiley and Amelia. However, taking his kids away will not be easy, as Tracy will not allow that. But even if Michael leaves, it might only be for a few episodes.

In the previous episode, Michael had already asked Sasha and Daisy to leave for their safety. In this one, Sasha will get ready to move with Daisy. Nina will be shown feeling guilty about it and admitting that she should have perhaps done more to protect her loved ones and keep them away from the danger associated with Sonny’s mob ties. But it seems Sasha does not hold Nina accountable.

This exit plan will prompt Michael to think about leaving, and though the spoilers do not point to a concrete decision from Michael, it seems that the prospect of him leaving is very much there now.

At this point in General Hospital, leaving will also be the best thing for Michael. The spoilers reveal that Drew will commit to taking action against him. Willow will also hear Drew’s plans about hurting Michael in the upcoming episode, as well.

So, there is a lot of tension and drama awaiting General Hospital fans. Whether Michael actually leaves Port Charles or not is expected to be revealed this week.
