Days of Our Lives: Cat Greene’s Spy History Explained

After one word set off a chain reaction amongst fans speculating what Cat Greene’s history with the I.S.A. (International Security Alliance) was, Days of Our Lives has finally revealed how Cat Greene was linked to Shane Donovan in its latest episode.

There seems to be a story far deeper than what meets the eye.

Cat Greene’s history as an ISA agent in Days of Our Lives explained

Cat Greene greeted Shane Donovan at John Black’s funeral, saying, “Director.” This was enough to cause a stir among viewers, as many tried to find the link between Donovan and Greene. In the latest episode, the show revealed Cat’s history as an ISA agent.

Shane finally confronted Cat Greene, and through their conversation, the show revealed that Greene was an ISA agent, though not a field agent. She worked as an analyst at the organization. But this did not eliminate the dangers of the job.

Through their exchange, viewers also learned that she investigated Clyde Weston’s high-profile drug ring. As a result, she got burned, her father was killed, and her mother was kidnapped and brainwashed. So, she was adamant about not returning to work for Shane Donovan. However, Donovan persuaded her to help with one crucial case that was directly related to her.

He explained that they wanted to take down E.J. DiMera and, ultimately, the DiMera crime family. To do this, Cat’s current position as Marlena’s assistant would be a huge asset. At the end of their conversation, Cat agreed to take on the job but stated that it would be her last.

This backstory and Cat’s reintegration into the ISA for a critical mission have set up a fascinating arc for the character going forward. Perhaps the upcoming episodes of Days of Our Lives will reveal what Cat Greene does next and how she helps take down E.J. DiMera.
