What Will Happen to The Judgment Day After Carlito’s WWE Exit?

Viewers believe Carlito’s exit from WWE will make an impact on the show’s storylines for The Judgement Day. On June 1, the Puerto Rican wrestling icon confirmed that he is leaving WWE and his current contract expires in “two weeks.” Ever since his announcement, fans have been speculating about what’s going to happen to The Judgement Day after the wrestler leaves.

So, here’s how Carlito’s absence may impact the upcoming WWE storylines and The Judgement Day.

How things could change for Judgement Day after Carlito’s exit

The theories regarding what’s next for The Judgement Day have started surfacing as the 46-year-old wrestler disclosed his exit from WWE’s wrestling stable. After weeks of speculation, he revealed on June 1 that he would be leaving The Judgement Day.

On X (formerly Twitter), Carlito said, “My contract is up in 2 weeks. It will not be renewed.” He added, “On top of that, WWE is demanding I pay back the $ they paid me for apparently “stealing money” from the company. I’ve had my lawyers look into it, and after reviewing my footage on Netflix for the past months, they suggested I pay them back the money.”

Carlito further joked that he would “reappear” again in 13 years, referring to his previous break from WWE that lasted for more than a decade. Meanwhile, fans theorize that his exit could prompt the stable to invite another member to create engaging storylines. Roxanne Perez has recently joined the Judgment Day circle on WWE Raw. With her unpredictable moves, a power shift could occur between the members.

On another note, the storyline might introduce a potential conflict between WWE stars Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Currently, they are WWE’s Women’s Tag Team Champions in their record fourth reign.

Both Raw brand wrestlers belong to The Judgment Day stable, with Morgan being a former two-time Women’s World Champion. So, adding a potential feud between the duo can create a shocking change that viewers did not anticipate.

So far, The Judgement Day has not acknowledged Carlito’s exit from the stable. However, in the future, if WWE creates a scenario where Raquel Rodriguez blames Liv Morgan for his departure, the tension between the duo could lead to an explosive fight.

Discussing Carlito’s exit from The Judgement Day, a fan noted on Reddit, “I definitely felt the absence of Carlito. I always looked forward to Judgment Day segments because I wanted to see what Carlito would pull off. Now that he’s gone (without being properly written off TV), I can’t find these segments enjoyable anymore, even with the Roxanne stuff.”

Another fan speculated about the changes that might come in The Judgment Day following Carlito’s exit. They shared, “I think Carlito ‘disappearing’ will be the catalyst for the inevitable split. Carlito disappears with custody of the PS5. Liv and Raquel get custody of Dom. (Hopefully, they join Seth and Heyman’s band of visionaries.) Finally, JD and Finn would get custody of Roxanne.”
