Her departure comes shortly after a brief return to Genoa City.
Ashley recently revealed that her time at the clinic didn’t fully heal her and that she needs more support. She will leave following Nikki’s birthday party to resume therapy outside the previous clinic, where administrators failed to distinguish between Martin and Alan. Jack promised to look after Traci and assured Ashley of his support.
Davidson is not under a full-time contract with The Young and the Restless. She appears on a recurring basis, meaning her character exits and returns as the storyline demands and her schedule permits. Ashley’s appearances have mainly revolved around major family events or brief story arcs.
