Recently, Bobbi Althoff has been the subject of widespread speculation regarding potential plastic surgery, sparking numerous comments and debates online. In response to the swirling rumors, the influencer has decided to set the record straight.
In this article, we will explore what Bobbi Althoff said about getting plastic surgery.
Did Bobbi Althoff get plastic surgery?
Bobbi Althoff recently took to social media to address ongoing rumors about her appearance, specifically claims that she has undergone extensive plastic surgery.
In a video posted on August 27, 2024, on TikTok & Instagram, Althoff clarified that she has only had filler in her upper lip. She attributed the changes in her facial appearance to weight gain, not to any additional cosmetic procedures. She explained that the weight gain, which has affected her face, resulted from stopping breastfeeding about a year ago, leading her to put on around 20 pounds.
Althoff further challenged the notion that her face appears frozen or excessively altered, attributing such perceptions to weight gain rather than cosmetic work. Althoff criticized the habit of leaving harsh comments online, questioning why people feel compelled to belittle others’ appearances.
The influencer also said, “I try not to care too much about negative comments, but it’s like, can a girl gain some weight in her face without you guys f**king saying ‘She has cheek filler’? And can a girl be insecure about her upper lip and get some fucking lip filler without you guys f**king commenting on it. We all know I did it; we can all see it.” (via BuzzFeed)
Althoff, who hosts The Really Good Podcast, has faced criticism not just for her looks but also for her comedic style and personal life. This is not the first time she has addressed such issues.
Earlier this year, she debunked claims related to an NSFW AI deepfake video. In her TikTok response, which has since been deleted, Althoff expressed frustration with the negative comments about her appearance, stating that people are more focused on criticizing her looks rather than acknowledging her actual experiences.
