The highly anticipated action thriller Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has officially announced a new release date. This came as surprising news for fans eagerly anticipating to witness the upcoming movie on August 15, 2024. Recently, Allu Arjun made the official announcement, confirming that the film will now hit theaters later than expected.
What is Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 release date?
Allu Arjun’s announcement came after a week of rumors about the postponement. On Monday evening, he took to his social media platform to share the news with fans, accompanied by a striking new poster of himself in his iconic role as Pushpa Raj.
He is seen holding a sword, dressed in a grey t-shirt layered with a brown shirt and a matching bandana. The actor’s caption read, “#Pushpa2TheRule in cinemas from December 6th, 2024.” In other words, the upcoming movie will be released three months later than its previous release date. Pushpa 2 will be released on December 6, 2024.
Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind Pushpa 2, released an official statement detailing the reasons for the delay. They cited pending shooting schedules and extensive post-production work as the primary factors. “We have been tirelessly working to complete the movie and release it on time. However, due to the remaining shoot and subsequent post-production work, we will not be releasing the film on August 15th, 2024,” the statement read.
Many speculate that another reason of the decision to postpone the release was the crowded Independence Day release schedule. Originally, Pushpa 2 was gearing up to compete with several big releases, including Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, Nikkhil Advani’s Vedaa, Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein, and more.
With the new release date set, fans can look forward to experiencing Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 6, 2024. The anticipation continues to build as the filmmakers promise an unforgettable cinematic experience.
