Southern Charm actress Kathryn Dennis is facing charges of DUI (driving under the influence) following a three-vehicle collision in South Carolina. A clip of the actress cursing at the police officials for detaining her has created a stir on social media.

What happened to Kathryn Dennis and why was she arrested?
As per People, Kathryn Dennis has been charged with DUI after she was stopped in Berkeley by Goose Creek Police authorities. She is accused of causing a three-vehicle accident under alcohol influence.
According to the LA Times, Dennis was driving with her dog during the collision. There aren’t any reports of injuries from the collision, as per the Police chief LJ Roscoe. In dashcam footage, the TV star is seen taking a balance test, following which she is handcuffed.
In the footage obtained by TMZ, Dennis is seen blasting at the officials for charging her with DUI, saying, “Y’all are ruining my life and my kids.” Additionally, Dennis broke into a rant after the police confiscated her dog to move them to an animal shelter. She shouted, “I want my dog, he means everything to me. This is bulls—. I just want my dog to be OK.” She was charged with DUI after a police officer confirmed she “had glossy eyes and an odor of alcohol coming from her.”
Kathryn Dennis was subsequently shifted to the Berkeley County Hill-Finklea Detention Center. She will appear in court on June 4.
