Candy finished its first and only known season two years ago and since then some fans have often wondered whether a Candy Season 2 would happen if audiences would get to see more of Jessica Biel’s Candy Montgomery. Fans have also been asking if the second season had a release date. Candy is a biopic crime drama based on the true story of Candy Montgomery and the axe murder of her neighbor Betty Gore.

Is there a Candy Season 2 release date?
There is no Candy Season 2 release date as the series has ended after one season on account of it being a miniseries.
Candy Season 1 ran for five episodes daily between May 9 and May 13, 2022. When Candy was first released on Hulu, it was conceived as a limited series or miniseries, wherein the entire story would be told in a fixed number of episodes that were pre-planned. As such, this eliminates the possibility of future seasons, let alone a Candy Season 2.
Moreover, it has been two years since Candy premiered on Hulu, and neither the streamer nor the makers of the show have offered any updates on Candy Season 2.
However, one year later, another biopic miniseries on Candy Montgomery from HBO Max titled “Love & Death” premiered. This series featured Elizabeth Olsen in the lead role of Candy Montgomery.
Candy’s cast includes Jessica Biel as Candy Montgomery, Melanie Lynskey as Betty Gore, Pablo Schrieber as Allan Gore, Timothy Simons as Pat Montgomery, and Raul Esparaza as Don Crowder. The series also features Jessie Mueller as Sherry Cleckler, Coley Campany as Linda, Sharon Conley as Sandra Lockett, and Aven Lotz as Becky Montgomery. Nick Antosca and Robin Veith created the series.
