Dragon Ball Super is a manga series written by Akira Toriyama, with illustrations by Toyotarou. Shueisha started serializing the manga in June 2015 in their shonen manga magazine, V Jump. Meanwhile, Viz Media handles the North American and English releases of the series.

The manga has 21 volumes available in English. Volume 21 is currently available for pre-order on Viz Media’s website. It is set to release on May 14, 2024.

Where to read the Dragon Ball Super manga

Dragon Ball Super is available to read on Shueisha’s Manga Plus or Viz Media’s Shonen Jump.

You can read the first three chapters and the three latest chapters for free on Manga Plus and Shonen Jump. However, to access the other chapters, you’ll need a subscription.

Shueisha offers two subscription plans for Manga Plus Max. A standard plan costs $1.99 a month with the first month free with no ads. However, you can only access 6,000 chapters of series that are ongoing. A deluxe plan costs $4.99 a month with no ads. You get access to 15,000 chapters and completed and ongoing series.

A Shonen Jump subscription costs $2.99 a month with a 7-day free trial. You’ll also get access to 15,000+ chapters.
