Plot – what’s the story about?

The story of The Wild Robot follows ROZZUM unit 7134 aka Roz who gets shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and begins to learn how to survive and adapt to the wilderness and harsh surroundings it finds itself in.

In its journey, Roz will end up meeting many people and traversing many landscapes and jungles. Roz eventually attempts to learn how to blend in and adapt to the wilderness and savage lands and also form bonds with the various animals that inhabit the lands. As mentioned in the trailer, the robot eventually realizes that in order to survive it must become more than it was originally programmed to be.
