Release date ā when is Challengers coming out?
Challengersās release date is April 26, 2024.
The film had an original release date of September 15, 2023. However due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes the filmmakers had to push it forward to April 26, 2024. The first trailer for the film dropped in June 2023 which revealed the September 2023 release date. However, the new release date came out in July 2023. The film already premiered in Sydney, Australia, on March 26, 2024.

In this trailer, we see an introduction to tennis champion Tashi Duncan. Seen excelling at the sport, two boys, Art Donaldson, and Patrick Zweig, who are doubles partners and best friends since childhood, spot Tashi and are very impressed by her. They both fall for her and end up going their separate ways in a few years. We see a glimpse of Tashi breaking a knee during a match and having to retire from the sport.
We find out that several years later, Tashi is married to Art after being in a relationship with Patrick in the past. Loads of drama take place in the trailer and at the end it all comes down to Art facing Patrick in a tennis match with Tashi as Artās coach. Plot ā whatās the story about?
Challengers follows a tennis player who turns into a coach for her husband, Art, and soon deals with her past catching up with her.
The film looks at the life of Tashi Duncan, a tennis player, whose life changes after excelling at the sport of tennis. Two best friends, Art and Patrick, spot her during a game and fall for her at the same time. Soon, due to an unfortunate on-court injury, Tashi has to retire from the sport. Years later, married to Art Donaldson, Tashi is her husbandās coach, who has won several Grand Slam titles. When he gets on a losing streak she convinces him to play in a tournament, which brings back her ex-boyfriend and Artās ex-best friend, Patrick, back into their lives.
