Plot – what’s the story about?
MaXXXine’s story reportedly takes place after X and sees adult film actress Maxine Minx, who survived the events of that movie, pursue her dreams of becoming famous. However, Maxine’s brutal past threatens to reveal itself when the infamous Night Stalker begins stalking the streets of Los Angeles at night.
Moreover, as the trailer reveals, Maxine crosses paths with a private detective who had been hired by his employer to find her. The detective warns Maxine that her horrific past will threaten to catch up to her. Maxine is put in a situation where she has to now confront and deal with her sordid past and also pursue her acting ambitions.
