Kosaka receives some unsolicited advice from a co-worker which predictably doesn’t improve her circumstances much.

In episode 3, Hara has a candid conversation with Kosaka about his sexuality. Meanwhile, Somei learns that her ex has become successful as a mangaka. In episode 4, Misono lashes out at her boyfriend, and that has a significant effect on their relationship. Elsewhere, Kosaka continues to grow close to Kagiya. In the season finale, Koska makes some important decisions about her love life.

The cast of Ripe for the Picking includes Koharu Kusumi as Kosaka Maiko, Wakana Sakai as Misono Miyuki, Taiki Sato as Kagiya Senri, and Kaho Tsuchimura as Somei Nana. It also features Yuki Izumisawa as Hara Yukinari and Ruka Ishikawa as Kodaira Ren.
