Paramount Plus‘s new TV and movie releases for April 15-21 2024 include the docuseries CTRL+ALT+DESIRE, the fourth season of the documentary-competition show The Last Cowboy, and the eighth season of RENO 911!
On April 16, a new documentary series “CTRL+ALT+DESIRE” hits Paramount Plus. This is a three-part documentary series that explores the life of 29-year-old Grant Amato, accused of murdering his family. Grant Amato was reportedly found guilty of premeditated murder in 2019 for the murders of his parents and brother at their Florida home. Viewers can expect this documentary to be a gripping narrative that explores themes of loneliness, obsession, and family discord.
Then on April 17, Reno 911! Season 8 and The Last Cowboy Season 4 hit Paramount Plus. Reno 911! is a comedy series that parodies law enforcement documentary shows like Cops via a mockumentary-style presentation, where comedy actors take on the roles of lawmen or police officers. The series stars Robert Ben Garant, Thomas Lennon, and Kerry Kenney-Silver, who are all also billed as series creators.
Meanwhile, The Last Cowboy is a documentary-competition series created by Academy Award-nominee Taylor Sheridan. This series explores the elite Western horse riding competition of horse reining, where eight men and women guide their horses on a series of spins, circles, and stops and compete to gain the ultimate prize of $1 million. Also explored in the show are the daily lives of the horse riders/reiners.
The other release on Paramount Plus during this week is all four seasons of Mighty Planes. Mighty Planes is a documentary show that takes viewers on an exciting journey that explores various aircraft like Airbus A380 and Omega 707 and goes into detail about what the aircraft do and how they function.
