Disney Plus‘ new TV and movie releases for April 15-21 2024 include new episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 and X-Men ’97.
On April 17th, viewers can stream the thirteenth episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3, titled “Into the Breach.” They can also stream the sixth episode of Marvel Studios and Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97. Star Wars: The Bad Batch is an animated series that follows the Clone Force 99 group. The group managed to resist Emperor Palpatine’s Order 66 brainwashing and is now on the run from him and the Galactic Empire.
X-Men ’97 is an animated series that serves as a revival and sequel to the iconic X-Men: The Animated Series. In this new series, the X-Men have an expanded roster that includes Bishop, Morph, and Sunspot. They deal with new threats in the absence of their old leader Charles Xavier, and under the supervision of their new leader Magneto. Throughout their adventures, the X-Men gain the assistance of allies like Forge and Nightcrawler. They also battle foes like Mister Sinister, Goblin Queen, Mojo, and Master Mold.
Also releasing on Disney Plus during this week are 14 episodes of the twelfth season of Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet. This National Geographic Wild series follows Dr. Michelle Oakley and her adventures around her home base in Haines Junction, Yukon. There are also six episodes of the sixth season of Drain the Oceans. This Nat Geo series revolves around old and new mysteries related to the oceans. Finally, there are eight episodes of PJ Masks: Power Heroes Season 1. This animated series follows three kid superheroes Catboy, Owlette, and Gekko. The heroes are also joined by some new superhero teammates in their adventures.
