Yona of the Dawn is a shojo series by Mizuho Kusanagi. The fantasy and romance series began serialization in Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume in August 2009. The manga currently has 43 volumes available in Japanese.
Viz Media handles the English and North American releases of the series. Forty volumes are available in English. Viz is releasing Volume 41 in English in May 2024, while Volume 42 will be reportedly released in September 2024. Volume 41 is currently available for pre-order on Viz Media’s website.
Is the Yona of the Dawn anime over or will there be new episodes?
As of April 2024, there are no available updates regarding Yona of the Dawn Season 2.
Studio Pierrot produced the anime adaptation of Yona of the Dawn. The show aired from October 2014 to March 2015. It has a total of 24 episodes and three OVAs. Many fans are hoping that the series will get a second season. Yona of the Dawn seems to be part of the list of shojo series that deserve another season but don’t have one yet. Some romance series have gotten another season years later, so hopefully this series gets the same treatment.
