Amazon Prime Video has several new TV and movie releases for April 8-14, 2024. These include Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan’s Fallout, Unforgotten (2023) Season 5, and The Exorcist: Believer.
Starting April 8, fans of Unforgotten can tune in to the platform to check out the fifth season of the British crime-thriller series. This is the first season not to feature Nicola Walker’s DCI, Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Stuart. Instead, it stars a new protagonist Jessica ‘Jessie’ James. However, Sanjeev Bhaskar reprises his role of DI Sunil ‘Sunny’ Khan from the previous four seasons.
Then on April 9, fans of The Exorcist franchise looking to stream the latest installment, The Exorcist: Believer, can get excited as the film is finally coming to Amazon Prime Video. A direct sequel to 1973’s The Exorcist, the story follows photographer and single father Victor Fielding, who is forced to confront pure evil when his daughter and her best friend show signs of demonic possession. Fielding desperately seeks the aid of The Exorcist protagonist Chris MacNeil to help resolve his problem.
Then, on April 11, the post-apocalyptic drama Fallout hits Amazon Prime Video. Created by Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, this new television series is based on Bethesda Softworks and Interplay Entertainment’s role-playing video game franchise Fallout. The show boasts an ensemble cast that includes Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Leslie Uggams, Dale Dickey, Matt Berry, and Zach Cherry.
The other releases hitting Amazon Prime Video this week are The Challenge: All Stars (Paramount+) Season 4, Tyler Perry’s Bruh (BET+) Season 4, NWSL, and Legend of the Lost Locket (Hallmark).
